Ionian charters sailing area

The geography of the Ionian Islands determines that routes are generally northerly or southerly ones.

The prevailing NW winds in the summer mean that going South is pretty easy and can visit most of the Islands or mainland harbors and anchorages with no problems.

Returning back to your base is also very easy as the strong NW winds (which is very seldom) mainly in the afternoon, do not last very long.

Places to visit:
Main land of Greece: Sayada, Plataria, Syvota (Mourtos), Parga
Islands: Paxos, Anti Paxos, Lefkada, Ithaka, Kefalonia, Zakynthos
